After checking out from the hotel (Yosemite Valley Lodge), we headed to the Yosemite Falls, which consists of Upper Yosemite Fall (1,430-foot (440 m) plunge) and Lower Yosemite Fall (320-foot (98 m) drop).
Despite it was early in a winter morning and the last part of the trail to the falls was ice-covered, many tourists were there trying to get to the falls. Some of them were in spring attire.

We drove to Crane Flat and from there, we snowshoed to Tuolumne Grove of Giant Sequoias (#2 in the map).
Then we continued snowshoeing to the Crane Flat Lookout (#1 in the map), which I have visited more than a decade ago in summer.
The Giant Sequoias were magnificent, the view from the Lookout were breathtaking.
That concluded our three-day snowshoe trip and we were heading back to the Bay Area.
