The hike started early (7AM at Henry Coe Park Headquarters). Ron, for instance, had to wake up at 4AM for this hike.
This hike included multiple creek crossings and walking in / out of a creek for a mile or so. The water was cold but not ice cold.
We had a very short lunch break at Missipi Lake as we hadn't finished half-way yet (Bear Mountain was the half-way point).
The last glimpse of Missipi Lake.
I think we are still early in the wildflower season. But we saw nice displays of wildflowers.
It was cloudy when we started but later became sunny. We saw nice blue sky as we were climbing up hills.
Ron made his coeffee like he does after any other hikes. Unlike his previous Henry Coe hike, he didn't need to make it in dark.
